Fire Erupts at PNP Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine Group Headquarters in Quezon City

A fire erupted in the early hours at the headquarters of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine (EOD-K9) Group located in Camp Crame, Quezon City. The Philippine National Police (PNP) reported that the blaze began at approximately 12:41 a.m. A video circulating on social media captured an explosion accompanying the fire. Responding promptly, around 40 firetrucks from the PNP, the Bureau of Fire Protection, and volunteer teams were deployed to the site. The fire was successfully extinguished by 1:57 a.m. Authorities conducting arson investigations have yet to ascertain the fire's cause and estimate the extent of the property damage.
