Governor Ortega Administers Oath to Ten New Sangguniang Panlalawigan Employees in La Union
Governor Mario Eduardo C. Ortega officiated the oath-taking ceremony for ten newly appointed staff members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) during the Provincial Government of La Union's (PGLU) 1st Monday Flag Raising Program held on September 1, 2025, at the Capitol Grounds. The event coincided with the celebration of Civil Service Month.
In his remarks, Governor Ortega highlighted the significance of efficiency, collaboration, and accountable public service. He urged the new officials to work diligently and harmoniously, stating, "Agtignaytayo ken agtultuloy nga agtrabaho a naurnos tapno maipakita ti La Union: Agkaysa!" which translates to fostering unity and continuous orderly work to showcase La Union's collective spirit.
The freshly appointed employees, now serving in various units of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, expressed their dedication to enhancing legislative support and public service for the province's constituents. Their induction is viewed as a strategic move to reinforce the SP's capacity to provide unified and effective governance for the people of La Union.
