BTS Announces Global Tour Following New Album Release
South Korean K-pop sensation BTS has confirmed it will kick off a global concert tour this April, following the release of their first album in more than three years. The tour is scheduled to commence on April 9 in Goyang, South Korea, and will feature a total of 79 performances across Asia, the United States, and Europe through July, according to the group’s management agency.
The band recently concluded a hiatus during which all seven members completed South Korea's mandatory military service. Ahead of the tour, BTS is set to release their new album on March 20, although the album's title has yet to be disclosed.
BTS’ previous album, "Proof," released in 2022, achieved significant global success, debuting at number one in 18 countries and accumulating approximately 16.7 billion streams worldwide. The group is managed by Hybe Co, which serves as the parent company of BTS' label and agency.
This return marks a major milestone for the group and their fans, signaling a full-scale comeback to the international music scene with extensive touring and new music releases.
