Capas Local Government Recognized as Regional Winner in Local Legislative Award

The local government of Capas, Tarlac, led by Mayor Roseller Rodriguez, has formally acknowledged Vice Mayor Alex Espinosa and the entire Sangguniang Bayan for their achievement as regional winners in the Local Legislative Award for 2022-2025.

Mayor Rodriguez extended his congratulations, stating, "Congratulations, Vice Mayor Alex C. Espinosa and the Sangguniang Bayan ng Capas, our Regional Winner for the 2022–2025 Local Legislative Award."

This accolade was given after Capas emerged as a Regional Finalist in the 1st-3rd Class Municipality Category. The award is jointly hosted by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), the Philippine Councillors League (PCL), and the Vice Mayors League of the Philippines (VMLP).

Vice Mayor Espinosa received the award during a formal ceremony held recently in Lapu-Lapu City.

The Capas Information Office commented on the significance of the honor: "The Local Legislative Award recognizes our laws and ordinances that promote the development and resilience of our municipality."
