Iloilo City Mayor Offers Support to Bogo City After Devastating Earthquake

Iloilo City Mayor Raisa Treñas conveyed her deepest sympathies to the residents of Bogo City, Cebu, following the severe 6.9 magnitude earthquake that struck on the night of September 30, 2025. In an official statement released on October 1, 2025, Mayor Treñas acknowledged the profound pain endured by affected families who have suffered losses of loved ones and property.

She affirmed Iloilo City’s commitment to aid Bogo City in its relief and recovery operations. "The Iloilo City Government stands united with Bogo City and will actively explore opportunities to support its relief and rehabilitation initiatives.
